How important is the square foot size you see on a listing?

Do you schedule your showings accordingly?

There's a new trend, not to list the size of the home. There's a good reason for this. But I understand why this can be frustrating for buyers.

There's a good argument to be made for not listing the size of the home. Checking the room sizes is one thing you can do to be sure the space works.

But until there is a uniform method that is accepted by everyone. I do see this trend continuing. After you look at several homes you will see how some just feel bigger or feel smaller. Without even looking at the size stated on the listing sheet.

If it happens to be stated. Once you are actually in the home, 3000 sq, ft can feel small. The next place states 2500 sq. ft. and it feels spacious. The numbers are irrelevant if the space works and is exactly what you are looking for.
